We always enjoyed C-U's libraries. They are wonderful attributes for the city. We spent a fair bit of time there then - and we did now too.
Here we are at the Champaign library. Sebastien in June 2008. And now.Alex has become more interested in the games that are available on the computers. She isn't allowed near Mummy's or Daddy's computer so she enjoyed this time and had to be dragged away at the end of each visit.
We always enjoyed the reading time at the Urbana Free Library - and that is still the case. There must be something about sitting on cushions on the floor...Of course, if there is a train table to be found, Sebastien will find it!Alex re-discovered her house. In October 2006 with Aunty Chelle (I don't have any later pictures unfortunately - never had the camera there):And now:We also went to one of the Savoy play events (we were very disappointed that M&M no longer had their Monday Manias to go to). Sebastien was very comfortable. Alex had fun but she was by far and away the oldest there. She liked to curl up to read in some cushions. Sebastien also let her join him - for a while. We also managed to meet up with some friends at the indoor playground at the First Christian Church that was very handy when there is a thick layer of snow on the ground and a cold wind blowing. Alex is now old enough to go on the "wheel of death" which kind of freaked Mummy out...but Mummy was too busy keeping Sebastien from falling of the play structure and heading for the "Wheel of Death" to do much about it. Because it was school time for most kids, we had no queues to worry about there either - well except for Presidents' Day.
