Progress

We've really stepped up the reading - our night-time routine is dinner, shower/teeth/hair, dressed for bed, piano practice and reading. First Alex reads a story (or three pages of the slightly more complex books) then we read her a story of her choice (or chapter these days as she chooses longer books). Here she is sounding out some words in the Dora phonetics series I scored at One Week Boutique a few years ago now.Sebastien has been paying attention and likes to read to himself aloud - with his finger "following" the words. Ellie, a steady favourite has been "Stand back" said the Elephant, "I'm going to sneeze!"And this is just for you Aunty Lyndall - who knew hairclips could be reinvented?
