Miserable Weather

The weather this winter has been decidedly strange. Like nothing we've seen before. twice now I've come out of our apartment and thought "Boy, the cleaners really need to wring their mops better when they mop the floors" as I pick my way through half an inch of water over the floor. This, by the way, makes it very slippery! But then, on getting into the elevator I notice that there is condensation everywhere. On the walls, on the ceiling and on the floor. Our poor tiger decorations suffered terribly from droop and had to be taken down (in truth, it fell down first).Even inside our apartment the floors had condensation on them - after slipping over twice, Alex walked carefully around, but Sebastien never "got it". We were lucky he never struck his head when he slipped over. Our poor books also felt damp - I only hope that they don't go mildewy.

**This happened twice - but the second time we closed up the apartment and kept the air conditioner on to dry out the air (yes, in the winter) and our apartment was ok, it was just outside everywhere else.
