Just little comments now and then such as "Wouldn't it be nice to have a dog" and "I wish I had a cat/dog/bird".
Having been met with a negative response - no pets allowed in our apartment - she has taken matters into her own hands.
Meet Sam (brown dog), Husky (Alaskan puppy "adopted" from Miki in America on our last visit), and Puppy (with the brown "socks").
Alex makes sure she ties them up before going to the toilet.
She also feeds them before she has dinner at night. 
None of them require a pooper scoop.
