University of Illinois Gymnastics

Want a fun way to spend an evening? Go to a gymnastics meet. Alex was mesmerised (though the snack helped). We had good seats up high so could see everything happening. It was a mens & womens meet so there were 3 universities there. All the equipment was set up so lots to see.






Far and away Alex's favorite was the womens floor routines - because they were set to music. The mens were much more focused on the tumbling difficulty.







Trying to capture ome of the tumbling was very difficult with my limited camera capabilities - but I kind of like the blur.

And it was raining outside - more fun for Alex as she got to wear her gumboots (rubber boots) and jump in puddles!
