Leading up to Christmas

We were lucky to be able to make some gingerbread houses - well ok, more like decorate some cookies - as a part of the traditional lead up to Christmas. Some friends had grandparents visiting from the States who had brought with them candies and graham crackers! This is stuff you cannot find here in China! Thanks Melissa and Joseph (well actually, to the grandparents).

Unfortunately the icing was not setting fast - perhaps due to the tropical location - and so Alex's roof ended up being a path. Some even made it home, though Alex was keen to test them first. Sebastien was more interested in playing with the Thomas train and assorted cars, planes and buses he found.
Daddy's architectural brilliance that night.
