Bo Bing is so integrated in Xiamen life that even the management of our complex got into the spirit and organized some games. A little dampened by the weather (Typhoon Sinlaku made landfall in Taiwan then and a week later Typhoon Hagupit was to affect our weather - we've swapped earthquakes and tornadoes for... earthquakes and typhoons), it nonetheless went ahead with Bo Bing for the residents. The combined Xiamen/Kinmen Taiwan fireworks that were to be on, and that we'd planned on seeing pre-virus, were cancelled due to the weather.
Alex and Brett enjoyed the games and the spoils (Sebastien was still vomiting too often to venture out of the house - without several changes of clothing for both he and me). The wet weather did not dampen the enthusiasm of the residents - gathered to win more usual prizes of rice and oil among other things.
Alex enjoyed throwing the dice.Alex eating some mooncake (without the salted duck yolk in the middle).
Speaking of rice, while you're reading this play some games for rice donation to countries that need it: FreeRice.com.
